Join us for the opening of Trails, an exhibition by Canberra-based visual artist Sally Black.

Sally creates works on paper using watercolour, ink, painting, printmaking and drawing. Her practice celebrates curiosity and joy, exploring unusual perspectives and playful interpretations of natural and built landscapes.
Trails brings together watercolour monotypes, paintings and pen-and-watercolour sketches inspired by Canberra’s landscapes, walking trails and local bookshops, including the Murrumbidgee River and Ginninderry Conservation Corridor.

Join us for the second Guided Walks in Language event!
Ranger Shama will lead this walk in Hindi, sharing stories and insights about the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor, including its wildlife, ecosystems and conservation work.

The walk offers beautiful views of the Murrumbidgee River, Brindabella Mountains and surrounding landscape.

When: Saturday 26th September, 8am – 10am
Where: Meet at The Link Building, 1 McClymont Way, Strathnairn ACT

This is a moderate walk along an earthen track (Australian Walking Track Grades 2 & 3). Please wear suitable footwear and bring water, a hat, sunscreen and snacks.

A new collection of walking tracks was officially opened in May 2024, with the construction of further tracks completed by the end of 2024. An additional 10km of walking tracks will complement the existing 3.4km Strathnairn to Shepherds track.
