Come and discover Canberra's best-kept secret, Strathnairn Arts and its wonderful exhibitions. There are three exhibitions this month.

Gallery 1; Different Strokes - Our Environment
A group exhibition featuring recent work by members of Different Strokes, who meet at the Village Hall at Strathnairn Arts each Wednesday.

Gallery 2; Sophia Childs - Sutured surfaces
Recent Honours graduate from the ANU School of Art and Design Sophia Childs uses machine-stitching recycled and reclaimed textiles to form textured, lively surfaces that she then layer with acrylic paint.

Featuring highlights from Nancy Tingey’s 60-year career as a practising artist.

In her first solo exhibition, printmaker Charani Ranasinghe explores the beautiful and quirky world of Australian native seeds and pods using a variety of printmaking techniques.

Exploring the junction between painting and ceramics, informed by the landscape of Canberra and the South Coast.

Queer Food is a new sustainable catering company and food retailer run by Trans* and Queer* People.

Queer Wine Night run by Queer Food.
5:30pm until 10pm.
Chroma Wines take over of the July Beers for Queers!
Chroma is run by Leslie, a local Queer* wine producer in Canberra, who will be giving a presentation on the wines at the event prior to this month's performers!

Food this month will be pizzas.
There will be a variety on offer to match the selection of wine available on the night.
Each serve will include a whole pizza at $16 each.
All food will be vegetarian, with vegan and gluten free options available.

For the first time ever, we’re opening our doors after dark for a beautiful and intimate three-course sit-down meal. Join us for a delicious evening of empowerment, stories, and new connections.
Ginninderry Conservation Trust welcomes you to the Corridor Walk
A new collection of walking tracks was officially opened in May 2024, with the construction of further tracks completed by the end of 2024. An additional 10km of walking tracks will complement the existing 3.4km Strathnairn to Shepherds track.
